“Passions Unite” combines my love for for the violin and for glass. As a 20+ year violinist with the Meridian Symphony, I challenged myself to create a glass violin based on the luthier model from Cremona, Italy for the Stradivari 1617 Messiah violin. I cast the accessory pieces and my hand, which cradles the instrument, then created custom molds for the body and ribs.
